Cute Indeed

After a early morning safari trail in Zone 1, our eyes were constantly in search of T 39, the princess of Ranathambhore. Unfortunately she refused to give her glimpse and we settled enjoying other sightings and of course the early morning jungle ambience. As we were heading back, a routine break near one of the chawkey. With others answering to nature's call, I preferred to clean my lens and cam with the blower…

Soon there were other gypsies arriving at the spot. “Tiger Dekha kya??” (means did you see the tiger) was the question asked as soon as the gypsies come to a hault. With their low faces, could manage to gauge that the princess refused to show her charm to anybody that day…

It is a regular routine @ Ranathambhore to feed the Rufous Tree pies and squirrels disturbing their feeding habitats. Thus as soon as the gypsies stop, Rufous tree pies use to sit on the top of the front glass of the gypsy and the tourists and guides feed them. Not being a part of it, neither encouraging it, I walked a few steps away from this and saw this cutie stripped squirrel feeding on the remains dumped by the tourists. Felt pity but couldn’t resist myself from clicking the pose.
