Tala's Pride

When one has the blessings from Mother Nature, then luck shall shower any moment.. Just need to have some patience in Bandhavgarh, the land of Tigers.

With 2 safaris in Magadi gone dried, it was Tala zone this time. With rain gods showering few days back, the sightings had been disturbed. With the sweet smell of mud and belief in her blessings, we started our third safari. The morning didn't show signs of the striped beauty nor any alarm calls.. It was 9:00 am and our driver, Vinod, was giving all his hard attempts to search for the striped beauty and all of a sudden...

Sir, Tiger... Sir, Tiger!!!!!!!!! and our eyes scanned the area of Rajbhera..

From far off in the thick sal forest walked the Rajbhera male. It was commendable to sight this chap in such a thick vegetation as there has been "zero" alarming calls, no pug marks and no gypsies waiting at that spot.

As the eyes finally locked focus on the stripped beast, the beauty walked down to the water body.. stretched and with few sips of water, decided to cool down.

With quite a few shots from my 500, it was time for a wide angle to shoot Tala and its Pride.
