Princess of Ranathambhore

Beautiful isn’t she??? She is named as T 39, the princess of Ranathambhore.

With she sighted in the morning safari, it was evident that there are maximum chances of sighting her in near the water body called as Kala Peela Pani of Zone 1. To our luck, afternoon safari was also Zone 1 and we were hopeful to have what was expected. Within minutes of entering, we were been informed that she is spotted in the nearby vicinity of Kala Peela Pani. All the gypsies of Zone 1 headed towards that area. We all waited and were hoping for her arrival and kept our gears on. She came out, sat on the nearby concrete dam for few minutes and stepped down towards the water body. Absolute chaoses as there were 15 odd gypsies for getting a proper angle and being the one near the water body. Fortunate to have forest officer’s gypsy nearby to maintain that discipline and give her way to head towards the water body.

She was 2 years old when I managed to click this picture. She had all the expressions on her face. Astonished, puzzled, a sense of fear, confused, wondered as she being surrounded by all tourists busy clicking each and every move of her. Her expressions changed as she looked at each and every vehicle surrounding her thinking – Ohoo!! Not Again...
