Greater Spotted Eagle

As we crossed the marshy lands of Kutch, we happened to spot this rafter grounded from quite a distance. Being curious, we jumped out of the gypsy and head towards the birdy. We use to travel a distance, stop and take few clicks and then move ahead.. We covered quite a distance. Soon we discovered that this chap was sitting on a kill and he has almost completed it. With only feathers as the remainder, he did not show any inclination to feast further on this but was not giving up the possession on his kill. Being brave, we headed further. Few moments later, ultimately with nothing to munch, he flew away. Being more curious, we tried to investigate the kill done by this raftor from the remains scattered on the ground.. The white feathers and the flamingo population nearby indicated that it was a flamingo who was the unfortunate one.
