To me, incase if you need to sight bold Rufous Tree Pie, Ranathambhore National Park, Rajasthan is the place... Generally Rufous Tree Pies are extremely shy birds and always fly away with any human intervention. But it seems, with time, these birds have adapted to the conditions of this park. It has often seen that tourists and guides of this park do feed these birds. Recent instances states that these birds do chase gypsies and snatch food items from the hands of the tourists (quite risky). Human entertainment of feeding these birds for fun has influenced to their changed behaviour. Alas!!!

The Rufous Treepie is an Asian treepie, a member of the crow family. It is long tailed and has loud musical calls making it very conspicuous. It is found commonly in open scrub, agricultural areas, forests as well as urban gardens. The sexes are alike and the main colour of the body is cinnamon with a black head and the long graduated tail is bluish grey and is tipped in black. The wing has a white patch.

This is a typically arboreal species feeding almost completely in trees on fruits, seeds, invertebrates, small reptiles and the eggs and young of birds; it has also been known to take flesh from recently killed carcasses. It is extremely agile while searching for food, clinging and clambering through the branches and will sometimes travel in small mixed hunting parties with unrelated species such as drongos and babblers. It has been observed feeding on parasites of wild deer.

This picture depicts this birdy feasting on a piece of biscuit fed by the tourists.
